Responsibilities during final construction stages were to define the resort's market and
establish a concept of operation. Responsibilities included developing marketing strategy
and literature, assisting in design and furniture selection, recruiting and training
staff, and implementation of accounting controls and operational procedures. Developed the
resort's reputation as a first-class executive retreat for corporate meetings, training
seminars, and year-round family holidays. Off-season promotions such as murder mystery
weekends, nature tours and theme packages were the backbone of the business during winter
